Introduction: Our client is a leading supplier of facility services to the Ministry of Defence and they now have an immediate requirement for a Technical Services Officer (M&E) to supervise the maintenance, new works team and operatives in the performance of their duties to recognized standards of productivity and quality and compliance with essential health and safety provisions. Responsibilities:
- To oversee the effective and timely delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive works and Minor New Works.
- Liaise with Project Managers and Site Managers on maintenance and minor new works activities.
- Providing technical support where required to the maintenance teams.
- To perform audits on completed and in progress works and input results into WorkManager.
- To liaise with customers and clients and deal with complaints etc.
- Periodically examine maintenance records to ensure that necessary work has been undertaken as required by the safe system of work.
- Ensure compliance and adherence of health and safety procedures.
- As an Authorised Person (AP), must be prepared to undertake AP duties, for which appropriate training will be given.
- Be available to cover other sites when available.

Applicant Requirements:
Essential:
- Demonstrable background in managing and supervising staff in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering tasks within a construction/property maintenance environment.
- Ability to use own initiative.
- Enjoy solving problems and making decisions.
- Contract site control.
- Management of safe system of work.
- IT literate.
- Full driving licence.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own.
- You must be flexible as you will be required to visit other sites.
