Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Process Quality technician within UK Hose Assembly Operations. To help develop improved Quality processes in UKHA & support the implementation and adherence to the Client’s quality initiatives
Duties
Work on projects/tasks assigned
Carry out capability studies
Conduct Measurement system analysis
Help maintain company’s rating conduct audits, improving borderline areas & working on sustainability plans
Assist in creating processes/procedures for facility QMS
Assist in creating standard work
Assist in creating FMEA’s & control plans
Assist in RCCA on any issues and work on resolving the issues including leading PPS investigations into process issues
To conduct internal audits on QMS
Carry out time studies
To participate in defect investigations and component inspection as required
To provide cover for other Quality Techs
To provide cover audit team
Collecting data and updating metric boards as needed.
Team Responsibilities
Assisting in the creation, training and implementation of standardised work processes
Participating in Rapid Improvement Workshops (RIWs)
Generating and working on Continuous Improvement ideas for there assigned areas
Person Specification
You will have completed an accredited apprenticeship and be multi-skilled in both electrical / mechanical functions
Self-motivated and the ability to work on own initiative
Teamwork, flexibility and mobility are essential pre-requisites
Shift working will be required.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience with PLC based systems will be an advantage
