A massive recruitment drive is due to get under way in Glasgow for volunteers to help out at the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games.
About 2,000 people will be interviewed for "Games Maker" posts over the next nine days at the city's science centre.
Glasgow is hosting the fourth of nine selection events, with 100,000 people being interviewed across the UK.
Applications from hopefuls were taken last year. The national selection process will continue until March 2012.
Sir Craig Reedie, member of the Games' organising committee, said: "Thank you to everyone who offered their time and put in an application to volunteer with us during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
"Applicants from the Glasgow area should check the e-mail address they used to apply to the Games Maker volunteer programme to see what day they have been invited to interview and choose a time to suit them.
"The team at London 2012 is very much looking forward to meeting Glasgow-based Games Maker applicants from 4 May to 15 May at the Science Centre, Pacific Quay, and Glasgow."
