The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived in Yellowknife in Canada's Northwest Territories - the most northerly and remote stop of their tour.
After covering Canada’s major cities this will be their fourth stop on the attention-grabbing tour.
Crowds of people were expected to be outside the local airport when the royal couple's plane arrived, despite the wet weather.
A handful of dignitaries met William and Kate on the tarmac before their first public appearance on Tuesday morning.
Around 5,000 people are expected to pack a local park for the morning festivities which will include aboriginal dancing and a street hockey game in which keen player Kate may show off her own skills.
Following a youth parliament session they will travel by float plane to Blachford Lake, where they will spend the afternoon meeting the First Canadian Ranger Patrol Group.
Crowds will be hoping for one of their impromptu walkabouts which have delighted fans elsewhere.
After their official duties the couple will take a break at an undisclosed location before travelling to Calgary for a rodeo and then heading to LA.
The couple spent the previous day on Prince Edward Island, competing against each other in a dragon boat race on Dalvay Lake.
William later had the opportunity to show off his flying skills as he joined the crew of a Canadian Sea King helicopter.
He demonstrated to a watching crowd, as well as his wife, the practice known as "waterbirding" - an emergency manoeuvre used by Canadian pilots if they have engine failure and have to land on water.
