Our Forces deserve the best especially when it comes to their transition from Military to Civilian life, there isnt a person who will read this that will disagree, or is there?
We recently came head to head with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) over our British Forces Resettlement Services (BFRS) project, a project set up to enhance the help, advice, support and jobsearch already available to Service Leavers.
For some reason the CTP apparently see us as a threat/competition, I personally do not understand this, especially when our prime motive is to help Service personnel past, present and future, you would have thought they would welcome this additional support to their services especially when they appear to be stretched and unable to completely satisfy the needs of all Service Leavers.
A recent discussion post on Linkedin has shown that many people were far from satisfied with their transitional help, advice and support from CTP, naturally there are thousands who are exposed to the resettlement system and we only have comments from a handful, but the negative comments far outweigh the positive ones.
Feel free to tell us about your own experiences.
