A question that is being asked more and more, as the death toll and injury level rises:
Why are our troops in Afghanistan? "It's not our fight", they say.
But is it? Do you know the answer? I'm not sure that I do! We are told by our politicians that we are helping to combat world terrorism.
Well, if we are and our presence in the region is so important and essential, why dont we send more troops and equipment? If a job is worth doing it's worth doing properley, we know the men and women of our Armed Forces are good, the best in the world in fact, but even the best in the world need full and effective support in terms of proper and adequate funding, the right equipment and enough of it.

Finally, we have to ask ourselves is this cause worth the loss of even one life let alone hundreds and dont forget that there are many more that are injured in the line of duty, there also those who suffer from the unseen mental effects - IS IT WORTH IT?
